I will be teaching COLOR THEORY FOR FIBER ARTISTS at the Columbia Gorge Fiber Festival in Hood River, Oregon April 15-17, 2011, and will also be a vendor in space no. 25

Do you experience color choice anxiety when you want to begin a new project?  You’ve found a pattern that you are excited about, but are overwhelmed with the unlimited colors options available.  Whether you are a novice fiber dye-artist or weaver who needs to learn color theory, a knitter who wants to combine colors for a Fair Isle project, or just want to learn more about color and how to achieve a certain effect, this 3-hours class will teach you what you need to know about color and contrast so that you can make educated decisions in all of your creative projects.  Kathee Nelson is a seasoned professional artist who also produces a line of hand-dyed yarn and fiber, and brings that experience to the fiber community in this information-packed class.
